Dynamic Context-Based Multimodal Fission
Technology is spreading in our homes as many objects become smarter and
many devices, such as TVs or media players have now Internet access.
However, most devices offer functionalities that have a limited scope;
they often neither communicate with other nearby devices, nor try to
retrieve information from the environment to provide context-aware
services. The goal of this project is to investigate the problem of the
generation of multimodal feedbacks by taking advantage of the
heterogeneous set of devices that can be found in a smart environment.
These devices, thanks to their embedded sensors, contribute also to the
generation of context information, which is used to provide consistent
and efficient feedbacks to the user.
