Automatic Augmented Reality Occlusion Detection System

The aim of the project is to pragmatically resolve a problem of augmented reality occlusion in order to visualize the effect of a dental prosthesis. This problem appears when a real object passes in front of a virtual object in the scene. Currently, most augmented reality applications simply ignore this case, or manage to avoid it, but the new solution would open augmented reality to a number of new applications. This will allow, for example, showing to a patient the effect of prosthesis before starting the costly procedure.
